Part-time Administrator for French School and Cultural Centre

The Alliance Francaise of Calgary (AFC) offers adult, corporate and children’s French courses in Calgary. Established in 1947, the AFC has over 1000 students per year, a French Media Library and a vibrant cultural calendar throughout the year.


Responsibilities include:
• Welcoming and informing the public on the services of the AFC
• Managing collective and corporate French courses
• Correspondence in both French and English
• Administering French Language exams
• Management of marketing and sales of French courses
• Collaborating with volunteers

Necessary skills:
• Completely bilingual, Spanish a plus
• Administrative experience
• Comfort with Outlook, Word, Excel and Quickbooks
• Ability to learn to manipulate unknown software
• Resourceful, independent and takes initiative
