Currently we have an opening in our Installations department located at our Head Office in Calgary, Alberta for a Project Manager. As part of a team this position is responsible for overseeing and managing the process required to achieve successful and profitable installation and service of audio visual systems and equipment into all customer facilities.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for organizing and dealing with several installation projects by creating and maintaining a project schedule which defines activities, dependencies, duration and associated resource requirements, working closely with the client and internal teams to resolve issues, discrepancies and conflicts that may arise during the course of a project, initiating project billing and equipment ordering and being the go between for the Installers and the Engineering department. Clerical duties are associated with this position such as booking hotel rooms for out of town jobs and if necessary rental vans.
You must have the ability to manage multiple urgent requests and rapidly changing priorities. Superior communication skills, strong writing and verbal skills are a must. You will take the lead on conversations ensuring clarity, understanding and minimizing gaps of knowledge and/or information at all levels.
A technical background particularly in the Audio Visual industry will compliment the educational courses you have taken in Project Management.
