Rack Technician Audio Visual (Calgary)

Reporting to the Installs Manager, The Rack Technician will follow detail CAD drawings to construct and test client audio visual racks within the workshop environment. The Rack Technician will also be responsible for day to day activities including but not limited to cable making, field install kit restocking and maintenance of the technical cage area. They may also be required to attend onsite customer installs.
You must have a strong background in the audio-visual industry, have the to manage multiple urgent requests and rapidly changing priorities,superior communication skills: strong writing and verbal skills, taking the lead on conversations, ensuring clarity and understanding and minimizing gaps of knowledge and/or information at all levels. Be ableto use strong business, technical, financial and logistical skills, combined with the ability to identify areas of opportunity to make bottom-line-oriented decisions that improve results and support both long and short term planning, have a valid drivers license, own a vehicle for local travel, be bondable and have the ability to lift up to 30lbs unassisted.
