Field Service Technician (Calgary, SE)

ND Graphics, a Gerber Scientific Company and leading supplier of equipment and material to the sign and image markets in Canada for the past 27 years, is hiring a Field Service Technician to work out of our Calgary office.
As part of our local team, you will work on wide format ink jet printers, thermal printers and plotters and develop experience on some state of the art equipment in a growth industry.
This role is vital to our continued success and reports to the National Service Manager. The main responsibilities are:
• Installing new hardware and software products and training end users
• Providing on-site repairs and maintenance on the existing base of printers and plotters
• Keeping customers well informed during all activities
• Self-managing workload and schedules
• Completing on-line forms and general reporting
• Assisting in other office tasks
Qualified candidates will have a post secondary education in an electrical or mechanical discipline and at least 3 years of related field service work on computers, large printers or CAD systems. Your customer-first approach, team work and “fix anything” attitude will set you apart.
The majority of the customer base is in Calgary with some travel in Southern Alberta or out of province. A valid driver’s license is required. This position will appeal to those who enjoy developing business relationships with clients and promoting your company’s products and services.
