Penny Lane Entertainment - In-House Counsel/Corporate Lawyer (Calgary)

Pennylane Entertainment Group is seeking a corporate lawyer/in-house counsel to join the senior management team immediately.
As the corporate lawyer/in-house counsel you will work closely with the executive team in a dynamic industry.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
• Working closely with the executive team ensuring the legality of our commercial transactions
• Advising on legal rights and duties, including those of the corporate officers
• Advising on contract law, intellectual property rights, licensing and zoning laws
• Structuring corporate transactions, drafting documents, reviewing agreements, negotiating deals, and attending meetings as needed
The ideal candidate has:
• Minimum 4-6 years of corporate law experience with some experience in litigation
• Strong understanding of contractual law, partnership and territorial agreements
• Strong academic credentials
• Demonstrated solid business judgment
• Entrepreneurial and detail orientated
