Intermediate Telecom Technician (Calgary)

Prestige Telecom is presently seeking telecom technicians in Alberta to add to the growing technical services division. The Prestige team is made up of over 700 skilled employees in 15 offices coast to coast. Scope of Duties:
Interpret schematics, specs, mark ups and floor plans
Installation and testing of equipment
Carry out cabling and power activities
Coordination with other teams regarding movement of equipment, materials, while adhering to Prestige’s safety and green policies.
Candidates MUST:
Be accurate, methodical and responsible
Be reliable, adaptable, work well under pressure and with others
Be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
Possess a valid Canadian drivers license.
Be able to travel throughout Western Canada
Willing to work off shift hours when required.
Education: College or Technical Institute Diploma
Experience: 5 years relevant work experience minimum
Education and/or relevant work experience will be considered
