Photographer ft/pt - Hiring for our Southcentre Mall location with interviews and training to take place at our Market Mall location.
Responsibilities:
- Our photographers do more than capture life; they make a connection and take interest in their clients. They learn who the clients are and what makes them laugh in order to personalize their session.
- Clean up after every session (pets will shed and babies will pee) and keep a well maintained workspace
- Capture images that reflect the style of kidsphoto.
- Take images and retouch up to kidsphoto standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in studio portrait photography or a student working towards a degree/diploma in photography
- Strong understanding of studio lighting, posing and professional equipment
- Know how to clean and maintain photography equipment (camera, lights, etc)
- Maturity and strong customer relations skills; able to connect with kids of all ages, from newborns to grownups, and with families and large groups
- Experience working with children is important
- Comfortable with computers; uploading images from the camera and editing
- Available to work evenings and weekends if needed
