P.J. White Hardwoods Ltd. is a Wholesale Building Material Distributor that has been in buisiness for more than 50 years with branches in Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton & Calgary.
We are a supplier to the high end Cabinet Manufacturer, Furniture Manufacturer, Millworker & Lumber Yard. Some of the product lines we distribute are:
Arborite & LaminArt brands of Plastic Laminate
Hettich brand Cabinet & Furniture Hardware
Plum Creek MDF's
Columbia Forest Products - Hardwood Plywood
Hardwood Lumber
3M Adhesives
Teragren Bamboo Plywoods
Edgemate brand Wood Edging
Doellken PVC Edgebanding
Melamine panels
Medex & Medite II & Medite FR
Homasote

All of our positions start out in the warehouse. Here you will work and learn our product lines & systems for 3 months to approximately 12 months. (Depending on experience) Forklift experience is benificial.
If you have a good work ethic and above average people skills with an aptitude for sales, you could be selected as a Sales Trainee. From here you would move to our Order Desk (Inside Sales). This position could lead to the following positions over time:
Outside Industrial Sales
Specification Representative
Purchasing
Management
Successful candidate will be an aggressive career oriented individual with superior customer service skills who can work in a fast paced environment
If you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig in, and have the above listed skills, we would like to talk to you.
Experience in the retail or wholesale building material industry would be an asset . Also would consider person with a backround in cabinetmaking or interior finishing .
We over a competative compensation package that includes Bonus, Health & Dental Benifits and an RRSP Plan.
