We are currently seeking a career-motivated hospitality leader to join us in opening our new pub as Executive Chef. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and bring new ideas to the table to create a new impressive menu and satisfy a large group of stakeholders: guests, employees and shareholders. The Executive Chef’s critical activities include day-to-day leadership of the operation; menu planning; full management of staff including recruitment, training, motivation and recognition, as well as assuming fiscal accountability for budgeted sales targets.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum two years restaurant experience in an Executive Chef capacity, preferably from an environment encompassing both lounge and restaurant;
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a large, diverse staff;
• Maintain a professional and positive image in front of staff and guests;
• Inventory control and cost analysis experience;
• Excels in social environment and comfortable engaging with guests and media;
• Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to doing what it takes to get the job done.
