Industrial Products Warehouse Manager (Calgary SE)

National industrial products distributor seeks experienced, multi-talented Warehouse Manager for their SE Calgary facility.
This well-established and highly-respected company requires a 'hand's-on' person to perform all day-to-day DC functions (i.e.: shipping, receiving, picking/packing orders, customer pick-ups, inventory counts, order processing, light administration, general housekeeping, etc.) and supervise/direct occasional part-time labour. Physical strength and endurance is required as the product involved can exceed 50 lbs.
The company seeks candidates with relevant experience. Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated previous success in a similar industry and across the same functional areas as this role requires.
The ideal candidate will be open-mainded and flexible enough to consider no task or responsibility too small. They will be organized, detail focused, service oriented and performance driven with an outgoing and positive attitude to match.
Forklift certification and own transportation is essential.
Basic working knowledge of computer hard/software is also a requirement.
Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, though the opportunity does require an individual committed to ensuring the DC is operating at it's best at all times, and both day-to-day work and special projects are proactively addressed.
