Sales Leader (Calgary AB)

Albion Fisheries, Western Canada’s leading seafood distributor has an immediate opening in their Calgary operation for a Sales Leader.
Reporting to General Manager, the successful applicant should be an energetic customer driven team member able to expand our sales penetration. The Sales Leader position will be expected to have direct account management and also be responsible for the leadership of a team of inside and outside sales representatives.
Duties:
Profitably grow and service a group of foodservice and retail accounts
In conjunction with purchasing, determine optimal product mix and inventory levels
Negotiate successful contracts with foodservice buying groups
Mentor and motivate a sales group in a commodity selling environment
Actively participate in divisional management decision responsibility
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated success in developing long-term selling relationships in foodservice
Minimum 2 years experience leading or coaching a sales force
Seafood knowledge
Teamwork and passion for success in internal and external customer service
A proven track record of increasing responsibility and results
Experience in working with retail chains an asset.
This new position within the Calgary operation provides attractive remuneration consisting of base, commission and benefits.
