Site Manager Telecommunications

Unified Systems Group has an opening available for a Site Manager in Fort McMurray, Alberta
Priorities
? Daily review of Labour/Material/Safety adherence on active projects
? Remain in close contact with existing customers; for new opportunities and satisfaction issues
? Communication of resource requirements to Resource Coordinator as required
? Ensure any work permits are pulled by checking job packages for a copy before handing off to technicians
? Maintain and oversee QA/QC Program
? Ensure COR safety program standards and compliance are maintained
Responsibilities
? Supervision, scheduling and training technicians on site projects
? Completion of all employee documentation
? Quote upcoming jobs efficiently
? Site surveys and job planning of upcoming work
? Weekly crew meetings including Tool Box talks and Site Safety Inspections
? Monitoring time on jobs ensuring they are kept within budget and the ability to meet deadlines
? Maintain consistent and timely paper flow, i.e. timesheets, safety documentation, FLHA’s, etc.
? Representation of USG at site safety, and general meetings
? Inventory management of stock requirements for each job including van inventory
Applicants must possess strong computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in multi-tasking and managing multiple jobs simultaneously. Preference will be given to candidates with prior supervisory experience and project management.
Work hours may vary depending on scheduling and site requirements and may include some overnight travel.
Start date is in the New Year.
