We are an ambitious, growing online newspaper that is looking for an Office Goddess / God to help take us to the next level and beyond.
The right person is:
Self Motivated. You need to take the initiative to get things done. You love finding ways to improve things, contribute, and show your team how you shine.
Tough Skinned. You will be dealing with difficult people with many demands
Technically Savvy. You are more than comfortable working with computers, using the internet, and love social media.
Super Organized. You will be in charge of keeping every running smoothly like clock work
Able to Multi-Task. You will have a variety of tasks to complete everyday
Thrives in a High Pressure Environment. Daily deadlines are the nature of our business
Good Sense of Humour. If you are straight laced and easily offended you will not be happy with us
Nitpicky. Careful attention to detail is an absolute must
Independent Worker. You will be alone most of the time and must be able to complete your tasks promptly, accurately, and without supervision
Ability to Deal with Creative, Challenging, and Difficult People. Diplomacy is an art that you fully understand and master.
This is a full time position requiring 40 hours a week. The starting salary is $2,000 per month with raise upon completion of a 3 month probationary period and a great bonus structure for the person that helps us become the great company we are capable of being.
