Reservations Supervisor (Lake Louise)
at Human Resources in Calgary
Duties:
• Work both alongside and lead a team of reservation agents
• Hire and train reservations agents in required job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Co-ordinate schedules
• Assign the work projects
• Establish and maintain reservations procedures
• Ensure a high level of guest service is achieved
• Review staff performance
• Provide feedback to staff
• Co-ordinate activities and smooth reservation information flow between different locations
• Answer telephone and electronic inquiries
• Work effectively with international travelers, wholesalers and group organizers
• Resolve work related issues
• Prepare and submit reports
• Ensure the smooth operation of the reservation systems and arrange for upkeep and maintenance where and when required.
• Be proactive and creative – contribute with new ideas and service advantages
Employment Requirements.
- Completion of a Post secondary education
- Prior experience as a Reservations Supervisor
- Office and administration experience
- Good cash handling and balancing skills
- Exceptional communication skills and great telephone manner
- Punctual, meticulous and reliable
- Courteous manners with the public
