SUMMARY OF POSITION:
We are searching for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with a strong work ethic who consistently strive for perfection.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
„X Works directly with the Executive Chef.
„X Assist with staff scheduling,. Monitor staffing levels to keep in line with determined budgets.
„X Promote professional work habit encouraging staff to act with integrity and team spirit.
„X Tracking of performance reviews and goal setting ensuring they are completed and followed up on in a timely manner.
„X Maintain department standards as with the Executive Chef and ensures they are consistently adhered to.
„X Supervision of employees regarding preparation and presentation of food for restaurants and banquet facilities.
„X Ensures that kitchen areas are clean and equipment is functional.
„X Ensures that all applicable health and safety standards are understood and applied as they relate to food preparation, handling and storage
„X Assist in the teaching of the “Wow” training program
„X Promotes teamwork between Kitchen and other Departments.
„X Able to assess problems and situations and takes the necessary actions
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- The successful candidate will be a highly energetic individual who is excited about the challenges that a very versatile Country Club demands on a day to day basis.
- Must have a wide cooking experience in all areas of the culinary field
- Valid trade qualifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must.
- Must be innovative, creative, current in culinary food styles and theme menus.
- Must be detail oriented, quality conscious and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to create an environment with team spirit and passion for food.
- Must have a work visa
