Our downtown client is a prestigious company that currently seeks a Records Management Clerk to add to their records management team. Reporting to the Office Services Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties.
Essential Functions
• Retrieving/sending existing files to/from off-site storage
• Organizing and ensuring timely completion of file runs
• Opening new client files, closing files, and performing conflict searches
Qualifications
• The ideal candidate must possess excellent client relations skills
• Self-motivated and the ability to plan and organize everyday tasks with little supervision
• Experience in records retention/management is an asset
• Proficient numerical/alpha data entry skills are a must
• Comfort in working in a team environment
• Pay close attention to detail and act responsibly to complete all jobs within tight time frames
• Ability to lift heavy objects
