Accounting Clerk (Calgary)

Accounting Clerk Required Immediately
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Some Accounting education and/or work experience
- Experience in Excel
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and pay all accounts payable
- Process and pay all lawyer business promotion and expense account charges
- Process and pay all office expenses
- Post all disbursement charges to files
- Maintain and reconcile Petty Cash
- Print, fold and mail accounts receivable reminder statements
- Assist with printing, sorting and delivery of month end reports
- Assist legal assistants with accounting issues
- Assist other accounting staff as required
- Other duties as assigned
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible
- Quick learner
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with clients and lawyers
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Detail-oriented individual with good reading skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions with minimal supervision and take initiative
- Able to set own priorities while maintaining flexibility
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Availability to work overtime when necessary
