Project Manager (Downtown)

A busy Calgary Document Management company has an immediate opening for a Project Manager. We are looking for someone who comes from a litigation background preferably but not necessary, has technical aptitude and is willing to grow with the practice. This is an intermediate level position with potential for advancement.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the litigation discovery process would be an asset.
• Knowledge of e-discovery processing would be a definite asset. However, training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Excellent computer skills are a must.
• Experience with database applications is a definite asset.
• Electronic File Processing familiarity is an asset.
• Effective organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to manage time appropriately and ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Knowledge of the legal industry and legal documents is preferred
Duties may include:
• Data entry of information from various documents
• Scanning documents.
• Finalizing projects to send to clients
• Reviewing completed projects to ensure that it is as the client wanted, before sending it to them
• Reviewing final project invoice amounts before submitting for billing
• Meeting with staff to communicate project specifications and timelines
• Shift scheduling for part-time staff
Compensation consists of a base salary + profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.
