Bookkeeper/Administrator – Calgary, AB
Enviro Vault is an Oil & Gas industry leader in innovative tank design with over 16,000 Enviro Vault equipped tanks in western Canada and the US. We are looking for a professional individual for the position of Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our team at our Calgary Sales Office.
The position requires excellent communication and organization skills. In addition, the successful candidate will also have the following:
• Bookkeeping experience
• Strong computer skills
• Appropriate certifications as required
• Formal training in accounting
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Capability to work independently and/or as a team player
• Ability to maintain a high-degree of confidentiality at all times
Responsibilities will include:
• Answering phones and interacting with customers
• Create purchase orders and invoices
• Payroll administration
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Preparation and submission of government required remittances e.g. GST
• Reconcile accounts and post to journals, ledgers, and other accounting records
• Bank deposits and bank reconciliation
• Administration of the group benefits plan
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and balance sheets
• Inventory reconciliation with costing and floorplan accounts
• Prepare documents and provide support for external accountants
