Setup Technician – Calgary



ExitCertified is looking for a dynamic individual to become our Setup Technician on a part time basis. You must be a hard working, detail oriented, reliable, enthusiastic individual who is available on Friday afternoons and is looking to gain experience in an entry-level technical position to strengthen their resume.



The company

ExitCertified is an award-winning global IT education specialist providing vendor-authorized training to corporate and government clients in advanced fields such as servers and storage, programming, system administration, security, databases and project management. Operating a network of training facilities across North America, the company provides authorized certified IT training for such vendors as Oracle, Red Hat, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, MySQL, and Apple.



The Position

Primarily job responsibilities will be:

- computer relocation
- computer setups, including attaching the necessary peripherals
- maintaining a clean and tidy classroom environment, with cables tied and desks in order
- ensuring that classrooms are up and running with the correct class operating systems and software


We are looking for someone who:
- above all, is a reliable individual!
- is attentive to details and self-motivated
- is technically savvy and eager to learn
- can commit a minimum of 3 hrs per week on Fridays afternoons
- can work with a variable schedule, some weeks dedicating up to 12 hrs to setups

Rate of pay is $10-12 per hour.
