SR&ED Technical Writer (HIGHLY PAID) (Calgary)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct technical interviews with the client project leads to identifying eligible SR&ED activities;
• Prepare detailed technical reports that will outline the technical detail relating to SR&ED eligible activities, these will tie into the financial end of the cost claims;
• Present assignment deliverables to clients and manage client relationships; and occasionally travel, when required;
• Participating in reviews if required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor or Masters in a field of Science or any Engineering discipline;
• 5 or more years experience working in private companies;
• 10 or more years work experience in Mechanical Engineering or Food industry;
• SRED/IRAP technical writing/processing experience;
• Very strong logical skills and strong abstract thinking;
• Good technical writing skills;
• Previous consulting experience in a technical field;
• Superior verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple projects.
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS:
• $50 - $80 per hour
• Full time or contract position
• Training will be provided
• Working hours are very flexible – work mostly from home
