PREPRESS OPERATOR
Alberta Print Service is a leading provider of print and print management services, enabling companies of all sizes to grow their businesses cost effectively. Alberta Print Services has province wide footprint that services all of Western Canada.
We are seeking a highly motivated prepress operator.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Knowledge of industry standard software applications (Illustrator, Indesign, Quark, Photoshop, etc.)
• A understanding of prepress and print specifications
• Ability to multitask
• A working knowledge of color correction
• Working knowledge in the manipulation of file elements to meet production and design requirements for most complex level jobs
• Quality Control review of digital and analog deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Digital proofing
• A team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet tight timelines
• Someone who is dedicated to exceeding quality standards and providing products and services of the highest caliber
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma / Technical Prepress Training
• Incumbents typically have experience working with graphics software
• Working knowledge of industry standard software applications
• 3-5 years working experience in a pre-press environment.
