Seeking PT Lounge Server/Porter (Calgary)

The Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel is currently seeking a part time Server/Porter for our refreshed and renovated Lobby Lounge.
We are looking for an experienced staff to fill key roles within the operation. Lounge and Banquet experience would be an asset. To work in both Lobby Lounge and banquet functions .
Applications must be committed to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, afternoons and holidays.
Competitive wage and hotel benefits.
If you are already highly experienced and looking to make a few hundred in tips a night you may wish to look elsewhere.
Gratuities are NOT guaranteed
Duties:
-Greet and welcome guests as they enter the lounge
-Prepare and serve drinks; serve food
-Assist guests with food, beverage and wine selection
-Prepare and close banquets functions
-Move and stock alcohol in coolers
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Must have minimum 2 years bartending experience
-Must have previous food and beverage experience
-Professional and bondable
-Strong customer service oriented focus and approach
-Physically capable of lifting cases of beer and wine
-Strong physical condition is necessary, as this position requires constant standing, walking, bending and lifting
-Previous Micros or other P.O.S. experience an asset
-Ability to work effectively with others and with minimal supervision
-Commitment to work late due to events and functions
-Ability to function well in multitasking environment and meet stipulated deadlines
-Strong communication skills
-Attention to detail
-ASIP
