French Language Instructor (Calgary, AB)

For over 40 years, Berlitz Canada has been providing the highest quality language training to the Canadian market. At Berlitz we are committed to fully understanding the language goals our learners wish to achieve and strive to cultivate long-term relationships with each of them.
Currently, we are recruiting for a flexible part-time French Language Instructor for our Calgary Language Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES
At Berlitz, we have a standardized approach to instruction worldwide. Our Method and Berlitz materials incorporate a building block approach, maximize learner participation and have been tested with thousands of learners worldwide. Therefore, it is NOT the responsibility of the Instructor to develop materials and curriculum. It will however, be the responsibility of the Berlitz Instructor to:
1. Ensure quality delivery of the lessons
2. Execute and be dedicated to the Berlitz Learning Cycle
3. Commit to providing the highest quality of service to both external and internal customers
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
o Deliver lessons in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles focused on the interests and needs of the client, working one on one and with groups of different sizes at the Language Centre and / or at off-site business locations
o Keep learner records and profile cards up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS/RELATED EXPERIENCE
o Native proficiency in the French language
o Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
o Completed or working toward College/University degree and/or relevant work experience
o Training in the Berlitz Method provided
