Part Time Data Analyst - Oil & Gas Industry - University Grads Welcome (Downtown Calgary)

Our client, a very stable and established company in the Oil & Gas industry, currently has an opportunity for motivated and computer/internet savvy individual to join their organization.
This is a Part Time position (4 hours/day = 20 hours/week). The hours can be flexible as long as they are between 8 and 5 Monday to Friday.
Working closely with the data/systems consultant and principals of the firm, the successful candidate will learn the internal processes for gathering and analyzing datasets used for market analysis.
This individual will be responsible for the collection, input, and base analysis of datasets used to populate the organization's proprietary database.

Key Candidate Attributes:
- Ability to work in a small business environment – can work independently & in team setting
- Flexibility – “the job gets finished, when the work gets done” – whatever it takes – the focus is P/T and 4hrs/day – OK to work 5 hrs, if need be
- Diligent, careful approach to work drives this individual toward self-imposed quality controls
- Timely in attendance and delivering results
- Open to feedback and confident in providing input into business solutions
- Willingness to learn
- Demonstrates independent logical thought process and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry would be useful but not necessary
