C# ASP.NET Developer (Permanent)
As one of Alberta¡¦s leading, most dynamic and growing health and wellness organizations, International Fitness Holdings Inc. (IFH Inc.) is currently looking for a C# ASP.NET Developer for their corporate office location in Calgary.
IFH Inc. currently has 25 clubs in both Calgary and Edmonton under the World Health and Spa Lady brands. IFH Inc. is a rapidly growing company with an informal entrepreneurial style.
Position Description:
A successful candidate will perform a variety of programming assignments supporting the www.ifhinca.ca, www.worldhealth.ca and www.spalady.ca websites. The candidate will be working with a team of web developers and graphic designers and will be responsible with providing software development and security for our corporate website initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
„X Code, test and troubleshoot C# .ASP NET code for corporate websites.
„X Develop a secure interface between our corporate websites and our internal systems.
„X Maintain website security and uptime.
„X Developing pages for within the Umbraco CMS framework.
„X Write and maintain programming documentation.
„X Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.
„X Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
„X Exceptional knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, AJAX, JavaScript and PHP
„X Excellent understanding of security best practices.
„X Knowledge of software design life cycle programming procedures.
„X Experience in building dynamic customer facing, cross browser web pages with minimal post backs.
„X Experience with working with Graphic Designers, using CSS and themes.
„X Understanding of SEO and creating SEO friendly code.
„X Working knowledge of Umbraco CMS.
„X Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
„X Capable of investigating and analyzing information and to draw conclusions.
„X Ability to present conclusions in a non-technical way.
„X Excellent interpersonal skills.
