Paralegal (Mortgage/Real Estate) - Downtown Calgary, AB (Downtown Calgary, AB)

Manpower, in tandem with our nationally-established transport and railway client, is seeking an experienced Real Estate / Mortage Paralegal to aid their business in downtown Calgary, AB.
This key role is responsible for:
•Assisting all departmental personnel with administrative and technical negotiations & correspondence to effect sales
•Preparing all sales documents; liaising with clients, realtors, legal counsel, and real estate support
•Reviewing and providing input on changes requested to standard sale documentation
•Participating in negotiations on redrafts of sale documents
•Ensuring titles in transferable form
•Coordinating & tracking sales request process with lawyers, surveyors, and purchasers
•Monitoring purchasers and subdivision process
•Liaising with interdepartmental offices to ensure documents and funds received & records updated
•Reporting monthly progress & maintaining land records
•Coordinating technical work & reviews with administrative support team
•Ensuring all required protections in sale documentation & proper registration takes place
•Completing historical research for impediments letters
•Prepares documentation as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
•Legal Assistant Diploma
•3 years’ minimum experience in land claims or real estate contracts
•Superior MS Office Suite skills
•Proven sales, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
