Instructional Designers (Calgary)

Innovatia is looking for Instructional Designers (ID) who will be responsible for the execution of Courseware Development plans and for the design and development of course material. The (ID) will be required to work with the Project Manager and Content Development team to identify their courseware development requirements and provide professional knowledge, advice and leadership necessary to enable the team to develop course material. The work will include the ability to simultaneously develop two major courseware packages and maintain existing courseware.
Minimum Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent program.
Five or more years of experience in instructional design.
One or more years of experience in the elearning industry.
Experience in researching content, working with subject matter experts, and converting content into performance-based, engaging learning for both in-class as well as eLearning environments.
Excellent analytical skills to convert information and business/learner needs into practical training solutions.
Superior writing skills, including the ability to write concise, creative, and effective instruction.
Excellent communication skills with clients, managers, and team members.
