(Part-time, 1 year contract position)

Astral Radio in Calgary has an opportunity for an experienced Account Executive. The candidate will be a self-starter, work with minimum supervision, have an exceptional work ethic and know how to prospect effectively and tenaciously.
Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed monthly radio and web revenue targets
• Manage and develop active retail direct and agency accounts
• Develop new retail accounts
• Develop imaginative solutions and new ways to solve client’s challenges
• Provide daily call planning and reporting as required
• Report progress on development of accounts to the General Sales Manager
• Represent Astral Radio with integrity, spirit, passion, professionalism, respect and mature judgment
Skill requirements:
• Education and/or experience in sales and marketing is a must
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in media sales
• A team player with an enthusiastic and energetic disposition
• Highly disciplined, self-motivated and results driven
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven sales success at meeting and exceeding budgets
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle
Additional Information:
• Hours of work are as follows: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
