Benefits Analyst (Calgary SW, AB)

Manpower, together with our leading oil and gas client, is currently recruiting a Benefits Analyst to provide technical and professional support in the development and management of policy and communication tools while supporting employee inquiries. This temporary full-time contract in Calgary's SW also offers the opportunity to become a permanent role.
Our client supplies technology, project management, and information solutions that optimize performance for customers working in the international oil and gas industry. Reflecting the idea that diversity spurs creativity, collaboration and understanding of customers' needs, our client employs over 100, 000 people of more than 140 nationalities in 80 countries around the globe.
Key responsibilities include:
•Interface with vendors for the collection, analysis and interpretation of disability data
•Analyze claims and provide strategic direction for future claims management in partnership with vendors and internal Occupational Health team
•Advise on policy changes/adjustments
•Assist with drafting/designing employee benefits and disability benefit communication tools
•Support employee benefits and disability related questions
•Support the Benefit Manager during annual benefit enrolment
Minimum requirements:
•Legally entitled to work in Canada
•B.A. in human resources, business, or liberal arts
•Minimum 5 years' experience in employee benefits
•Previous experience with disability administration
Preferred qualifications:•CEBS designation would be an asset
•Experience creating benefits communication documents
•Strong analytical skills that have been applied in a technical benefit environment
•Ability to work globally is considered an asset
