Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of HTML, and CSS
• A sharp eye for lay out and design
• Knowledge of PHP and open source CMSs (knowledge of Joomla preferred)
• Knowledge of website usability best practices
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Basic knowledge of Javascript
• Knowledge of social media tools and widgets
• A portfolio of existing work (if it’s small but good, that’s okay)
• Great oral and written communication skills a bonus – know how to make things sound compelling
• Willingness to learn web programming as necessary
• Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize workloads, and attend to a multitude of deadlines
• Excel in a team environment
• Inquisitive by nature to explore, learn, and change things for the better

• Tenacity to stick with difficult projects/situations and maintain high level of productivity and composure to successful completion

Responsibilities

• Modify and maintain Userful’s various websites
• Design and create webpages and landing pages from written outlines or images
• Increase website usability and streamline website flow
• Optimize Userful website performance (ex load speed), and code/script quality
• Optimise webpage SEO
• Track and report on Userful’s Google Analytics
• Track social media responses
• Establish a system of measuring, qualifying, and tracking conversions, and improving conversion rates

• Develop CRM forms
