Sourcing Specialist required for Calgary HR Team
Our client is looking for a hardworking, experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their busy Calgary based team.
Working with the HR team you will be responsible for souring well qualified candidates meeting the requirements of the hiring managers. Customer service is key as you will be supporting the organizations' management team as your internal client.
You will be responsible for new sourcing initiatives both conventional and non. It is your job to ensure that a adequate number of candidates are presented for each role.
Responsibilities will include:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Generate 'top talent' leads through networking, social media, professional associations, internet research, on-line databases, employee referrals.
• Assist in developing strategies aimed at successfully utilizing innovative sourcing strategies including, direct networking, Web 2.0 strategies, internet mining and advanced internet research.
• Actively participate in social networking (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.).
• Meet or exceed sourcing objectives to include contacts, leads, interviews, hires, market penetration, cost savings, etc
• Utilize and manage our applicant tracking system and develop comprehensive reports and updates on candidates and hires.
• Conduct prescreening and interviewing of selected candidates and provide recommendations to the Recruitment Team.
• The successful candidate will also provide front-line HR generalist support
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A university degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 3 + years of sourcing and candidate relationship building experience required, preferably in a corporate, in-house capacity.
• Creative and flexible with the ability to adapt to a continuously and rapidly changing environment.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi task in a high pressure environment.
• A good sense of humor with a can-do attitude and a positive approach.
• Excellent technical skills and superior knowledge of social networking
• Superior Microsoft Word and Excel skills mandatory.
• Extensive screening and interviewing experience.
