Process or Mechanical Engineer - Calgary
Our client, a large oil and gas operating company is currently seeking a Process or Mechanical Engineer to assist with a major projects. The successful candidate will the Key Lead for various projects and this is a full-time Long-term permanent position.
Job description
" Verifying the major engineering deliverables and performing the PE Authentication.
" Ensuring compliance with the applicable regulations and assisting the Permit Applications.
" Participate in technical discussions with the Owner to resolve technical issues.
" Preparing the detail design instruction including design codes and standards, local engineering practices and Steam/sulfur transfer special requirements.
" Advising to the detail of steam sulfur transfer and formulation technologies.
Requirements
- Handle process engineering needs. With Mechanical experience, but with some process design experience. Process design requirements are modest. can assist in aspect of the P&ID's.
- Must have good mix of experience.
Preferred candidate would be a Process Engineer.
" 15-25 years experience of relevant work experience within the oil and gas industry
" Knowledge in Steam/Sulfur technologies
" Member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
