Senior Technical Data Analyst
A Calgary company is looking to add a Senior Technical Data Analyst to their team to work with the project teams and IT partners to gather and analyze data requirements. Other job duties will include designing databases and the development and implementation of data migration/conversion/cleanup processes and procedures.
Required Skills:
• Gathering and analyzing data requirements (5+ yrs).
• Identifying and analyzing data issues (5+ yrs).
• Developing and implementing data migration/conversion/cleanup processes/procedures/scripts for large databases (5+ yrs).
• Database design (5+ yrs).
• SQL (5+ yrs).
• Oracle (5+ yrs).
• ETL tools such as Informatica (5+ yrs).
• SDLC (5+ yrs).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills (5+ yrs).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (5+ yrs).
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients (5+ yrs).
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment, demonstrating innovation, initiative, a customer service focus, positive ambassadorship and the ability to meet commitments (5+ yrs).
Duties and Responsibilities:
• eServices standards, architecture, and building blocks for Customer information, Security, Finance, Document Management, and Support
• Mobile application development
• Online development agreements
• Online trade permits
• Online business registration
• Online map enhancements
• Online residential improvement projects
• Online development permits
• Online building permits
This contract term begins August 2011 and lasts for one year.
