PHP Developer
Commerx, a complete internet solutions company, is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to work in our Downtown, Calgary office.
Experience
• Development of custom multi-tier web-based applications with database back end.
• Co-operation with other Web development team members (e.g. Project manager, Web programmers, graphic designers, authors, and quality assurance) in the production of a finished product.
• Ability to work on project without detailed instructions; taking the initiative with this job is important
Skills
• PHP experience: 2-4 years
• MySQL experience: 2-4 years
• Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented programming
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Understand coding standards
• Experience with distributed version control systems (SVN, Git)
Nice to have
• Knowledge with unit/functional testing
• Experience in MVC frameworks
• Familiar with the agile philosophy for software development
