Maintenance Staff (Hi-Banff Alpine Centre)

The opportunity to join our team as Maintenance Staff at HI-Banff Alpine Centre is a temporary full-time, hourly position. This position is available to college or university students, ages 15-30, who plan to return to school in the fall.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager at HI-Banff Alpine Centre, the Maintenance Staff are the behind the scenes support, ensuring that the overall maintenance of the interior and exterior of HI-Banff Alpine Centre is in accordance with the HI-C-PM mission statement, policies and procedures. As Maintenance Staff, you know the ins and outs of carpentry, painting, and plumbing and are the go-to person for odd jobs and repairs.
The successful applicant will have previous experience operating power tools safely and responsibly, and have excellent communication and trouble-shooting skills.
This position is available June 1, 2009 to be confirmed with offer. The starting wage is $12.75 hourly and includes an annual 4% vacation entitlement. Onsite subsidized housing is available.
