About the Job
This position is to provide system and application integration/support services to project teams in a shared development environment, which has both Windows and UNIX systems with multiple application platforms such as MS SharePoint, WebLogic, and others.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage the development environments to make sure of their availability, integrity, and security.
• Manage the application source control systems --MS TFS and CVS.
• Design and implement system/application infrastructures to meet new business requirements. It includes producing appropriate requirements & design documentation, system setting up & tuning, application installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and others.
• Coordinate network team, hardware team, and others to create and maintain high performance end-to-end infrastructure solutions.
• Provide application & infrastructure monitoring and reporting services.
• Work closely with application architects and developers in application troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Provide after hour & weekend support when it is required.
Your Experience Includes:
• 5+ years of experience as a system/application support in a production or development environment
• Working experiences with large-scale application infrastructure implementation
• Working experiences or knowledge on major system and web service technologies including
o Application/System monitoring tools (Sitescope, Gomez)
o Microsoft SharePoint and Weblogic application servers
o Content Delivery Network & web application load balancing
o MS IIS web server
o MS TFS server
o UNIX/Windows scripting & automation
o Networking protocols & configurations
o Active Directory and group policy
o Server and application security
o MS SQL server and Oracle database
You Have the Following:
• Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent work experiences
• Strong analytical skills. Proven capability to quickly troubleshoot and identify problems and implement solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. Ability to coach others
