We are looking for a CNC Milling Machinist that is fluent in setup and programming of a VF5 Haas Machine. Please see below for details:

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day


Salary: To be negotiated based on skill set


Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible


Location: Calgary South East, Alberta (3 vacancies )

Skill Requirements:

Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Machinist Trade Certification

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Machine Experience: Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines, Drill presses, Engine lathes, Milling machines, Surface grinders, Tool grinders

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Repair machine tools and parts, Set up and adjust production machinery, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments, Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
