Working with Paladin Security you will gain valuable crime prevention and law enforcement experience. Currently we are recruiting to train security dispatchers for a busy environment. Applicants must be able to work 12 hour shifts. Experience in dispatch or telecommunications are an asset but not required. Paladin will provide full paid training to the successful applicants.

Duties Include

• Receives & transmits radio communications, dispatching patrol officers & mobile patrol for the purpose of incident investigation, client property assistance & security.
• Operates monitoring room and dispatch terminal; interprets alarms received & routes the information appropriately for 12 hours per shift.
• Prepares reports and correspondence regarding daily incidents.
• Receives & records all telephone calls; responds to the situations reported as is warranted; provides required information &/or directions.
• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A High School Diploma
• Capable of performing under minimal supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to coordinate and function in high-energy and stressful environment
• Excellent customer service skills and problem solving skills
• Strong administrative skills
• Security and dispatching experience an asset but not necessary
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including working on a computer

Those who hold a valid Alberta Security License or have a criminal background check with their vulnerable sector done within the last 90 days will be given priority
