CCIS (Cross County Installation Service) is a Canadian based company that provides coast-to-coast general maintenance, installation and service of equipment in a multitude of industries, including general and preventative product or property maintenance and product installation services.

CCIS has a solid, proactive experienced work force of over 100 skilled handymen that routinely performs installations, preventative and general maintenance, visits to commercial, retail and food service locations. CCIS is looking to grow its National Team of Technicians, and we are looking for a person that is comfortable with tools, can do almost anything, basically a general handy person. This is a sub-contract position, meaning you work for yourself; complete a job when you are able and invoice CCIS for your hours, travel and expenses. If you are already employed, looking for extra money or are looking to work full time- CCIS is in need of support all across Canada.

Technician/ General Handy Man
Position Overview:
A Technician/ general handy person sub-contract position that can be part or full time. Work for yourself, based at home, invoice your services to CCIS and manage your own time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Communicate often with CCIS Head Office Management team
• Upon receipt of a work order from Head Office, confirm ability to complete the job
• Schedule the job with the end user, while updating Head Office
• Arrive at prescheduled location, complete job based on training package/ details provided
• Once job has been completed issue an invoice to CCIS for payment
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years' experience as a skilled handy person
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written. (Must be fluent in English or French)
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
• Superior organizational and follow-up skills.
• Dependable, self-starter.
Salary: $20.00 - $40.00 an hour plus travel time and mileage
