Our client is an eCommerce solutions provider specializing in multi-currency payment processing platforms whose clientele demand innovative, secure and convenient "built to suit" payment services that meet the needs of their ever-growing online consumer base - A demographic that desires ease and convenience of payment.
A pioneer in online payment solutions, our client empowers online merchants with the ability to efficiently and securely process payments without the need for significant payments-related resources. Their solutions seamlessly integrate online-commerce and banking operations. With robust authentication, online financial and marketing tools, market-leading fraud protection systems and world class support services, they lead the industry in online payment solutions.
Our Client is looking for a technical individual whose focus is around human computer interaction, opposed to traditional UX design, wire-framing, focus groups etc. We want the individual who writes the code to make a given mouse click do what he/she intends, can verify the movement in all web browsers and can suggest alternatives because the intended click may not work as expected on iPad, for example.
The candidate should be extremely knowledgeable with CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX, HTML and how each browser handles them slightly differently. The candidate should also have a general disgust for IE6.
Desired background includes:
• Degree/Diploma in human computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, web design, always with a strong HCI focus
• Minimum of 5 years experience in web-based user interface design role
• Strong experience with user-centered design process and industry UI standards
• Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis
• Exceptional communication skills, written and spoken
