KARATE INSTRUCTOR
(Part-time Saturday mornings)

Trico Centre is seeking enthusiastic, knowledgeable and outgoing Karate Instructors for their children and youth programs. If you are searching for a great part-time position where you can put your creative flair to work this may be the job for you.
This position requires mature, responsible and courteous individual willing to work schedules that accommodate the needs of the programs. The role involves planning and delivering quality Karate instruction to participants in a fun and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
• Delivers basic Karate fundamentals and emphasizes physical technique
• Provides excellent customer service and feedback
• Oversees participants in physical training activities
• Liaises with patrons and participants on progress
• Provides a safe and fun learning environment for participants
• Documents, and communicates facility and program information to customers
• Implements first aid procedures when required
• Shows a positive and professional attitude
Qualifications:
• Previous Karate instruction experience required with certifications an asset
• Program delivery and supervision of children in a group setting is essential
• Direct program planning experience required
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Must be able to work scheduled program times
Required Skills/Experience:
• Strong sense of customer service
• Punctual, reliable
• Enjoys working with people of all ages
• Superior communication and public relations skills
• Friendly, enthusiastic and enjoys teaching
• Hardworking, professional and a team player
• Organized with strong time management skills
