Department Manager
As a department manager at H&M, you’ll have to listen to everyone, no matter what their position is. You might not agree with them all the time, and you may even think some suggestions are about as good as wearing suede in the rain, but listening to other people’s ideas will bring your team forward and thus make the whole company better.
You also need communication skills and the ability to cooperate freely in a fast-paced environment because that’s how things are on the floor. You need to take in everything that happens around you to run the floor at its maximum potential, while at the same time keeping your team happy and developing.
