Title: Sales & Route Manager
Description:
The Sales & Route Manager is responsible for managing an existing route as well as identifying and securing new accounts in the defined territory. Coordination of one or more drivers, handling customer requests and complaints, and organizing equipment repairs and maintenance will be on-going requirements of the position.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the existing route
• Identify and obtain new accounts
• Coordinate route based on customer needs, distance, and drive time
• Handle customer service issues
• Organize equipment repair, maintenance and licensing
• Track paperwork and ensure that driver provides all required forms to Administration
• Attend trade shows
• Additional projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Experience in the fuel, environmental or hazardous materials industries
• Sales and/or route management experience
• Self-starter and independent thinker
• Highly organized, reliable and dedicated
• Excellent communication skills
• Travel may be around 50% initially while expanding the route, expect to decrease to approximately 25% travel over time
