Trotter & Morton Group of Companies is currently looking for a successful, dynamic Sales Professional who is ready to take on a new challenge in our LINC Division. We specialize in preventative maintenance and service for commercial properties. The primary purpose of this role is to sell multi-year maintenance contracts to commercial businesses/organizations. Based in Calgary and reporting to the Maintenance Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be a key new addition to the Trotter & Morton team.
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate that they can close solutions based sales and exceed expected targets on a year over year basis based on their track record to-date. They will also be able to show how their commitment to a disciplined sales process had lead to success, generating results that have made a significant contribution to the continued growth of the business.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Researching, prospecting, and continually looking for new opportunities to bring in new clients by making cold, warm and hot calls.
• Authoring and presenting proposals for service
• Closing deals and negotiating contract terms and conditions
• Providing excellent customer service
Core Competencies required:
• High energy and tenacity tempered by outstanding interpersonal skills
• A self-directed, innovative business developer
• Proven ability to sell a 'value-proposition' to the top decision makers in an organization
• Thrives on the excitement of cold-calling
• Strong follow-up and closing skills
• A strong business acumen
• Able to identify and maximize opportunities through effective problem solving and persuasion skills that link business owner's needs to the features of the maintenance agreement "value proposition"
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentations skills to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
Ideal experience:
• Extensive experience at a direct outside sales position
• Experience in solution sales environment
• Relish working within an environment guided by business systems and proven processes that lead to success
• Demonstrated time management skills
• A passionate and driven individual who is motivated to succeed.
