Workspace Consultant / Account Manager - Bermuda
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with several years of Contract Furniture experience on behalf of our Bermuda based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for building revenue and market share by implementing account strategies, soliciting and securing orders from new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
. Developing sales strategies, analyze market conditions and assisting in establishing and documenting sales and market share goals for the company
. Identifying client prospects and establishing both a call program with current accounts and cold-call program to secure new accounts
. Meet with clients to discuss and review needs and requirements. Develop and prepare pricing terms (with management), quotes, drawings and presentations
. Provide monthly sales forecasts, meet and review with Management to discuss performance against standards and sales strategy by account
. Meeting/exceeding revenue and/or GP targets, customer satisfaction and loyalty
. Oversee product installations and conduct post-installation follow ups
. Maintaining current knowledge of office furniture, products and industry trends
. Maintaining sales relationships with vendors
We are seeking as much as possible of the following in a preferred candidate:
. Several years of Contract Furniture experience in a similar position
. Prior Steelcase experience is a must have for this role
. Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills
This role involves making a long-term move to Bermuda therefore we look for highly portable and adaptable candidates. It is considered beneficial to have outside interests that suit the unique lifestyle offered in Bermuda, a small idyllic island living environment.
Our client offers an exciting professional environment coupled with an attractive, nearly tax-free (5.25%) compensation package (base plus commission/bonus). Relocation assistance and health insurance contributions will also be offered to the successful candidate.
