Do you enjoy working independently? Do you enjoy working a schedule out of the norm? Our client is looking for a tape operator to assist them in their downtown operations. The Ideal candidate should be able to work without much supervision, be reliable and dependable, and be available for work 24/7 – shifts would include a rotating schedule, with an average of 40 hours a week over a 4 week period.

Description: Tape Operator *****Shift work required: 12 hour rotating shifts- Days, Nights and Weekends******
This is a physically active work environment – extended periods of standing, reaching and lifting.
Duties:

Rotating 12hr shifts
This is a physical active work environment – extended periods of standing, reaching and lifting.
Pick and pack media (tapes) for offsite storage facility.
File media in racks.
Mount/dismount media from media devices (tape drives)
Reply to console commands
Physical interventions (hands & eyes support)
1 year assignment with possible extension

Job criteria:
Available for shifts 24/7
Ability to clear a criminal records check is mandatory
High School Diploma
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are an absolute must.
Basic computer skills required
Excellent english communications skills (verbal, written)
Positive attitude, self-starter

Compensation:
$15.00/hr + 4% vacation pay
$15.50/hr + 4% vacation pay – overnight rate
Prompt weekly pay via direct deposit
