TECHNICAL RECRUITER - Calgary
Tundra Technical Solutions (TUNDRA), a leading provider of professional IT and Engineering services, is looking for a results-driven Technical Recruiter to join their team!
As a Technical Recruiter you will report directly into the Recruitment Lead, your primary responsibilities will include the following
You will use all available tools and ethical techniques to identify and source candidates for existing and even future TBIPs and private sector client requirements.
Work to develop a strong base of IT candidates with previous experience working within the Federal government and associated agencies.
Conduct detailed screening of potential candidates, including interviews, reference checks, testing and background checks.
You will be responsible for presenting offers and negotiating contract terms, you will have a track record of demonstrated recruiting success.
You must be able to build long-term and trusting business relationships with placed and proactive candidates for future placements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a team oriented attitude are a must.
Generating leads and opportunities through recruitment calls
Developing and maintaining relationships with key business contacts, sales partners and industry associations to support growth of the TUNDRA brand in a way that positively promotes the companies' reputation and aligns with corporate strategies. This will include keeping regular contact with all assigned candidates, sales partners and contacts to maximize/leverage available sales opportunities
Evaluating current trends, competitive activity, economic factors and changes in the accounts/market segments you manage and translate that knowledge into definitive and actionable plans and forecasts to build profitable growth
Act as primary liaison to management for key initiatives/strategies and pro-actively inform them on significant changes to and/or performance against strategy for the accounts/market segments and channels for which you are responsible
Creating, identifying and elevating new or existing business/account threats and opportunities
Keeping management informed of ongoing recruitment activities through daily entries into ATS weekly recruiter reports
Meeting or exceeding assigned targets

You have proven experience recruiting for the Federal government and have consistently demonstrated superior results (top 25%)
You have experience recruiting for IT roles in the Ottawa region
You can work independently, self-starter
You are an outstanding written and oral communicator and comfortable in leading group presentations
You are self-motivated, results driven and maintain outstanding composure in the face of extraordinary challenge
· Maintain a Professional image at all times (personal attire and attitude)
· Bilingual (French/English) preferred
