Assistant Shift Supervisor (Calgary SE)

Manpower, together with our client, a market-driven global science company focused on meeting the world's needs, is currently recruiting an Assistant Shift Supervisor to supervise the safe performance of basic duties of production operators/technicians in Calgary's SE.
This role with our client is responsible for the following:
Verify machine set-ups/production specifics and packaging components prior to start-up
Oversee daily activities and ensure safety rules and procedures are followed
Complete material transfers to and from production area
Maintain record keeping and auditing with respect to safety, contamination prevention, quality, production, P.O. reconciliation and inventory movement
Document any employee performance issues
Key Requirements:
Ability to lead and supervise two crews of 10 to 15 operators
Ability to operate machines and basic hand tools with instruction
Basic math skills
First Aid training
Intermediate computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, database entries and record keeping
Experiential knowledge with SAP
