Staff RN Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Director or designate
Accepts responsibility for role as Registered Nurse within the organization
Performs with acceptable standard of skill and sense of responsibility
Plans, carries out and evaluates nursing care and co-operates in the administration of preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic care, exercising judgment in meeting the patients' needs
Assists in the teaching and sharing of knowledge with the staff under the direction of the Director or designate
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario ; Applicants without Added Nursing Skills will be expected to complete the required courses of study within six months of initial date of hire
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Further and related education ; A wide range of clinical experience ; Good interpersonal communication skills ; Knowledge of Cree an asset
